Welcome to NGO Academy. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NGO Academy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Services
NGO Academy provides an online learning management system designed for NGO professionals. Our services include:
Access to online courses, modules, and learning materials
Video content delivery and progress tracking
Assessments, quizzes, and examinations
Certificate issuance upon course completion
Learner dashboards and analytics
Organization and group learning features
Discussion forums and community features
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of our Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
For organizational accounts, the organization administrator is responsible for managing user access and ensuring compliance with these Terms.
4. Course Enrollment and Access
Course enrollment is subject to the following terms:
Free courses are available to all registered users
Paid courses require payment before access is granted
Course access may be time-limited as specified in the course description
Organizational enrollments are subject to the terms of the organizational agreement
Course content may be updated or modified at our discretion
You may not share your account credentials or course access with others. Doing so may result in account termination.
5. Payments and Refunds
For paid courses:
All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise specified
Payment is required before course access is granted
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect existing enrollments
Refund Policy
You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have completed less than 25% of the course
Refunds are processed within 10 business days
No refunds are available after the 7-day period or if more than 25% of the course has been completed
Organizational purchases are subject to separate refund terms as specified in the organizational agreement
6. Certificates
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of courses according to the following terms:
Certificates are issued only after completing all required lessons and assessments
Minimum passing scores must be achieved as specified in each course
Certificates include a unique verification code for authenticity verification
Certificates remain valid indefinitely and can be verified through our Platform
We reserve the right to revoke certificates in cases of academic dishonesty or fraud
Certificates represent completion of the course content and do not constitute professional licensure or accreditation unless explicitly stated.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to courses, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of NGO Academy or its content providers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:
Copy, reproduce, or distribute course content
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
Use content for commercial purposes without authorization
Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
Share or resell access to courses or content
Violation of these intellectual property terms may result in account termination and legal action.
8. User Conduct
When using our Platform, you agree to:
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
Respect the rights and dignity of other users
Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
Not post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conduct standards.
9. Discussion Forums and User Content

Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
Represent that you have the right to post such content
Agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
We do not endorse user-generated content and are not responsible for its accuracy or appropriateness. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

We do not guarantee that courses will meet your specific learning objectives or that certificates will be recognized by any particular employer or institution.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NGO ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform
Actions of third parties or other users
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NGO Academy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Your user content
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

We may delete your account and associated data
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NGO Academy is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:
Good faith negotiation between the parties
Mediation, if negotiation is unsuccessful
Binding arbitration, if mediation is unsuccessful
You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against NGO Academy.
